This prestigious award was announced at the Illinois Governors Conference on Tourism in Rosemont on March 18, 2011. The Illinois Excellence in Tourism Award recognizes innovative tourism promotional and marketing initiatives from across the state.

Their client, the Alton Regional Visitors Bureau won the award for Best Tourism Website www.visitalton.com. “We are very excited to have one of our clients win this prestigious award,” said Jim Rudny, President, J Rudny Dynamic Web Solutions. “This innovative project was a pleasure for our team to work on and be part of.” This is the seventh time a J Rudny client has won an Illinois Governor’s Conference for Best Website. The company was also recognized in 2010 for their website development for the Streator Tourism site.

The Alton Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official destination marketing organization serving northern Madison, Jersey and Calhoun Counties. The CVB provides visitors with information regarding the many attractions in the region, the area’s history, unique landmarks, recreational opportunities, special events and scenic beauty.
